Mind Body Medicine is based on the idea that the mind not only influences changes in the body, but that you can change processes in the body to induce changes in the mind. The goal of mind body medicine is to create more awareness through mindfulness training and biofeedback (the process of learning how to self-regulate your reactions to stressors) to increase your resiliency to stress, anxiety, and pain, among other things.
